Mariann Wafer, Founder and Executive Coach
Mariann Wafer is a seasoned finance leader and executive coach specializing in leadership development, with deep corporate experience and a track record of leading through complexity.
During her 25-year tenure as a Finance Managing Director at Accenture, she played a pivotal role in the company’s transformation from a partnership to a public entity, while leading global finance functions and strategic growth initiatives.
Her expertise spans global FP&A leadership, enterprise-level strategic planning, CFO oversight of a $5B business unit, complex M&A integrations, and investor communications—including modeling and messaging in partnership with Investor Relations. She brings firsthand experience preparing for high-stakes board presentations, IPO roadshows, and investor meetings—built on years of leadership experience before transitioning into coaching. This depth allows her to support senior leaders with insight, precision, and a strong focus on business outcomes.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois, an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and an executive coaching certification from Northwestern University’s Executive Learning and Organizational Change program.
